Hi! I’m Mikyhla and I’m really glad you’ve made a stop here in my corner of the world.
I LOVE to love. I love my husband, and I love our marriage. I love our children that we were blessed to bring into our home via adoption and IVF, and I am passionate about sharing my story how receiving love and and giving love changed my life. You will find me talking about that love, here on the blog, on my podcast titled Because You Belong Here, on YouTube, on IG @mikyhla, or on a regular basis in my home with my husband, through young adults ministry.
A little of my story…
When I was a child, my biological mother left my dad, my brother and I. It was a devastating loss. Feeling abandoned by a parent is a difficult loss to overcome. Yet, somehow I sensed the Love of God so near to me as if He caught me in His arms and lifted me into a place of safety and unconditional love. Eventually, my Dad remarried and a wonderful woman became my mother in every sense of the word. She embodied love in a very tangible way through acceptance and patience, and in truth, she modeled a love that caused me to deepen my relationship with the Lord.
Throughout my life, God has proven His love to me over and over and over. In the seasons when I felt and even thought I was far from Him, He was always finding me. My heart is to teach others how to see the moments of their lives big or small where love is woven throughout their story. You have the power to be everything you dream and to do incredible things. Sometimes it just takes the realization that you are LOVED and chosen for you to move into those new things. I am here to tell you that YOU ARE LOVED!
